Hi, I’m Daria, and I’m so happy you found my page - let me tell you a little about myself!
Five years ago, I left behind a career in tech to follow a path that felt more true to me: photography. What started as a leap of faith has become the most meaningful work I could imagine, capturing love stories and turning them into memories couples can always look back on.
Since moving to San Francisco, I’ve fallen in love with the city and all the beauty around it, from weekend getaways along the California coast to road trips across the states. On my days off, you’ll probably find me at Point Reyes or Half Moon Bay, playing tennis, or picking out fresh flowers at the farmer’s market for a little bouquet (my newest hobby!)
Along the way, I’ve photographed hundreds of couples (proposals, engagements, and weddings) with City Hall becoming a place I know inside and out! I’ve even stepped in as a witness for a few couples, which always makes the day extra special. Because I also spent some time modeling in the past, I know what it feels like to be in front of the camera. That’s shaped the way I work: a mix of light direction and candid moments that helps couples feel comfortable and look natural. One of the most common questions I get is, “What if we’re shy or awkward?” My answer is always the same: you don’t need any experience. I’ll guide you when you need it, and I’ll step back when the best moments happen on their own.
I believe the best way to grow is to learn from those who’ve already walked the path. That’s why I continue learning from some of the best photographers in the industry, always refining my approach so that the photos I deliver feel authentic and true to each couple.
